ZERO TO INFINITY

As a fusion of the old Gong sound with electronic music trends from the 1990s, this works rather well in terms of all sides blending together rather evenly and fittingly, but the actual result just isn't too exciting, unfortunately. Theo Travis is just too cautious and shy as a soloist, and Daevid Allen's lead guitar playing just reminds me of why he usually left this job to more qualified people in the past. If you're a very big fan of Allen's philosophy, mythology and overall personality then this is a very solid addition to your collection; for everyone else I'd say this is pretty skippable.
