5 stars An incredibly important album for Death and for its genre. Human pushed the boundaries of its genre to the next level, combining progressive aspects with the crushing energy of Death Metal. It is a perfect representation of the word quintessential within its genre.

Coming after the solid spiritual healing, Death decided to take an important turn from their signature raw sound into a more polished and technical approach to Death Metal, and this turn would not only effect the band positively, it would put them in the throne of Death Metal. Hundreds of bands started copying and imitating what Death creatively conceived in this eight track and thirty minute album. No weak tracks, many classics of Death Metal, this album still remains a bastion of the genre, and it's essential for any Death Metal fan.

Five stars, no doubt.
