4 stars With their short 2009 debut this Italian band really attract my attention (between many faceless new post-rock bands all around). From the very first sounds you can feel the difference - sound is much warmer there!

Plenty of strings (including cello and violin) make the music different from many more emotionless bands of post-rock scene. "L'alba" is full of violin solos, even with some Gypsy- Mediterranean moments there in it's sound. Guitars have their roots in some bluesy traditions, what is very unusual as well.

"Irradia" is more usual post-rock composition, but acoustic strings bring it somewhere to soundtrack of old Italian movie, dreamy and sweet. And great vintage electric rock guitar sound in the second part of this composition is excellent decision to sve the balance between mellow and rock sound there.

"Parola" is excellent neo-classical compositions with march drumming, beautiful melody and some harder guitar rock finishing.

One of most unusually pleasant post-rock debuts from year 2009. I can recommend it to post-rock fans searching for something new, and for open-ear RPI lovers as well. And I am waiting for their full album!
