4 stars Dark and groovy, BLACK MATH HORSEMAN play that kind of "Post-Doom" stuff that is neither Doom Metal nor Post-Metal. It's close to recent ANATHEMA , THE GATHERING or KATATONIA albums, but more psychedelic and even sinister; besides there's really some Prog thrown into it, so it sounds atmospheric but never boring or dragging for too long. Haunting female vocals are sometimes serve rather as a background than a soloing instrument, but it only adds to the whole thing. Since "Wylt" is less than 40 min long, I'd rather call it an EP, and have my hopes high for a future LP. Atmospheric Rock fans - check it!
