4 stars This band has actually been around for quite a while (since 2002, I believe) and produced an ep "Only Love" in 2006 from which a couple of tracks are included here. They had a few problems initially finding a singer, but in Holly Thody they seem to have finally struck gold. Powerful, melodic and easily accessible 80's style prog that's a delight to listen to. Soaring vocals, superb guitar solos, and hooks galore - it's all here. Entirely self-produced at the home of guitarist Martin Leamon, it may not have the slickness and polish of some of the more familiar bands of this type, but in some ways this only adds to the appeal. Believe me, anyone that enjoys Karnataka, Mostly Autumn, Touchstone (whom Crimson Sky have supported live), Breathing Space, Magenta and bands of this ilk will find plenty of interest here. Highly recommended, with the bonus that you can listen to the whole album streamed at low bit-rate via the band's web.me.com pages and check it out thoroughly first.

Four very big stars!!
