2 stars 2.5 stars. FLIGHT were a five piece Jazz/Fusion/Rock band from Florida releasing three studio albums over their careers. I've seen a few compare their sound as a cross between that ELP symphonic pomp and the blasting brass of CHICAGO. That works. Lots of energy here and a singer that doesn't do anything for me. He also plays the trumpet and you'd think you were hearing an old school Mexican band just the way he offers up these short blasts. There is so much about this record that had me groaning. Sometimes people clash. Another negative is the synths.

As far as positives I do like the beginning of "Theme To The Stratosphere" the 9 minute closer and also the guitar early on "Latin Dippy Doo" but that's it, man this album and I do not get along at all. You can't say that "Make A Miracle" and "Falling In Love" don't make you want to cry. I don't give out many 2 star ratings but this is deserving.
