4 stars Chick's rhodes sound open the album and a female voice joins and I feel like this is a bit disappointing, it's like this is not so well acomplished...but after a while...hey man! this flows! and it rules! I'm not quite in the latin/jazz/brazilian mode, but let me tell you that this album can do it for you. It flows so fine from beggining to the end and leaves you with a fine sensation.

This work is in light jazz/latin fusion terrain, but it has lots of edges and flavours to challenge the ear. All in all, Corea and Clark are playing at their best (rhodes dominate the sound), and the brazilian kind of percussion fits the way they play perfectly. There's not a single guitar note here, so don't expect DiMeola guitar speed riffing or soloing. I find that the vocale performance grew on me along the record and sets a great mood. There are also great sax and flute interludes and solos here and there along the instrumental passages that enriches the songs a lot.

Maybe the weakest song in the album is Children's Song, but the rest are top notch, specially Light As A Feather, Spain, Captain Marvel and 500 Miles High

You are warned, this is latin jazz (at its best for sure) and maybe you think that is not your dish, but take a look and you may be surprised!
