Spatial, radical, ambient, minimalist are four easy ways to describe this masterpiece from Mark Hollis and the Talk Talk outfit. The entire album is excellent although for me ' Raibow', ' Eden' and ' Desire' all continuous in presentation reveal the true genius behind this work from 1988. So Talk Talk embarked on a totally non commercial direction with Spirit Of Eden and immediately it yielded their best album IMO of their entire catalogue.
