Amplifier's new album puts extra Rock into Psychedelic/Space Rock, and fills it to overflowing. It's a relentless series of heavy, riffy soundscapes that fill your head with truly psychedelic sonic experiences. Constantly changing and interesting, but all with a non-stop thumping pulse. These have always been ingredients of Amplifier's music, but for me 'Gargantuan' reaches a new level of intensity. I am absolutely hooked on this band and, among a few hundred other fans in their December 2024 Livestream Concert, I realised I was a cult follower. What an amazing output from now just two band members.

Verdict: One of the best albums yet from this stupendous band.
