3 stars Hippy-trippy Italian prog sang in bad English. The shorter songs serve as throughways to longer compositions - the 22-minute "Wild Flower" and the 44-minute "Pilgrimage to Nowhere." Both tracks, especially the longer one, tend to meander a little, but the band's overall calm, lush, symphonic sound serves up enough different sonic textures to keep the listener entertained.

The album would have benefited from a good editor - did they really need that drum solo? (and for that matter, does anyone?) - but there are some genuinely inspiring moments waiting to be discovered in this 75-minute monster of an album.

Three-and-a-half stars, really, but apparently there's no option to add a half-star.
