2 stars "Well, she's married to the Cookie Monster..."

The second studio album from the synth-driven 'cybergrind' band which take their name from LA Confidential's mysterious personage.

The Good: Kasia and Cosmology

The Bad: This Sheffield based outfit first caught my attention at Download Festival 2010. If I hadn't seen them live I would never have guessed in a million years that the unholy growls found on this album come from a member of the fairer sex, Eva Spence! This novelty aside, much of the music itself is chaotic and messy, and at times a little boring. The albums highlight's comes during the longer, more melodic compositions, as their 'crazier' counterparts are relatively tame. This band definitely has potential but at this stage their music has not reach the creative peak of other similar bands.

The Verdict: One for the future.
