2 stars This is a re-release of their very first album, which was released in 1985 only on cassette (tracks 1-5) and their first LP from 1987. The music is quite typical 80's alike and mainly instrumental. A not very exciting mixture of soft prog and jazz fusion with mostly rather cheesy synthetic keyboard sounds. The drummer changed from the first to the second album, but unfortunately without any effect on quality. On "Les Saisons Marines" there is a short piece with vocals by guest singer Pascale ("Lequel De Nous...") accompanied by filigree acoustic guitar play of Jean-Luc Payssan which is quite nice. Vocals are already in their artifial language known from their later releases. Overall there is not much to be said about this record, for sure not as good as what will come after from them. Next album SARABANDES is a much better starting point with this quite interesting french band. For this one I can't give more 2 stars!
