2 stars Music-wise this is my least favourite Prognosis sampler so far which is kind of ironic when one of the best songs of 2011 is on here from Sean Filkens.

Kind of a strange way to start this sampler off with an experimental track with no melody from AETHENOR. Not a fan at all of this one at all. "Creepshow" from TWELFTH NIGHT is next and it's a live version. I do prefer the studio track a lot more but this is good.

John Young's "Childhood's End" is next and it's a live version as well. It's okay. JEBO's "Nothing Ever Works That Way" is next and it's the best so far. A feel good tune with some cool guitar 4 1/2 minutes in.

Liam Davison's "The Way We Were" is next and it settles quickly with vocals after an energetic start. I like the chorus. DEATH BY ORCHESTRA's "For You No Tomorrow" is intense and yet it's restrained. It's okay.

"Anitphon" by TALANAS is heavy with those "me want cookie" vocals. Not a fan. Matt Stevens' "8:19" is tied for third as far as my favourites go. A simple intrumental really with strummed guitar and other sounds that come and go. I like it.

"The English Eccentric" by Sean Filkens is such an amazing song and clearly my favourite here.Yes I do think it might be the song of the year for 2011 it's that good. THE CURATOR's "The Leaves Come Down" is tied for third with Matt's tune. Another simple tune but with reserved vocals and piano. Strings come and go.

BUNCHAKEZE's "Whose Dream ?" is my second favourite. Some cool vocal arrangements and I like when it kicks in late with guitar and passionate vocals.

Collectors only for this one.
