3.5 for sure

Great and totaly unknown progressive rock band from Italy who plays an intriguing type of progressive rock full of good ideas and nice passage. Album selftitled relesed by famous mellow records in 1996. The best pieces are opening track Nascita with almost 18 min of pure greatness and awesome parts and instrumental one Untitled nr 1, the rest are ok. So a good album all the way who desearves a better view by prog listners. 3.5 for Daphne. Good arrangements and musicianship is more than pleasent , in places is even great. A combination of elements that reminds me of Genesis with an iltalian feel to it and more eclectic ones in a good measure. Flute combined with keybords with guitar , with a more psychedelic vibe in some plces are the pleasent offerings of Dapne, great name for a band and cover art btw. Leeser known italian band but for sure they need more then how they are seen today.
