2 stars Bookended by the two halves of I Am the Sun - a slow, plodding symphonic prog workout which offers no surprises - Space Revolver finds The Flower Kings plugging away and producing an album which is absolutely typical of their discography. If you've heard the preceding albums, you've already heard most of the musical ideas on here several times over, and the lacklustre and self-plagiarising compositions here seem to lack the sparkle of the band's early albums like Back In the World of Adventures. If you're a major Flower Kings fan you'll doubtless have fun, but for my part I think the album is over-long, under-edited, and uninspired.
