4 stars Do this sume: the nerve of 80`s Crimson + the harmony of symphonic prog + the pulse of fusion + the subtetlies of good musicians. Result? Zonda Projeckt. This argentinian band it`s a real selection of three experienced rockers from Mendoza, Argentina, and their first CD it`s a suprise in the argentine prog landscape. There`s a couple of tracks highly inspired: long suite "Los tres pelos del diablos", the beautiful small piece "Jai Alai" (with Mario Mátar in an excelent form) and "El llanto secreto de la luna" or "El equilibrio" deserve a place among the best compositions of the argentinian prog rock. Now the band it`s a quartet: Vidal (bass), Mátar (guitars), Vega (drums, now acoustic) and Costa (keyboards), after a couple of years with the talented Gabriel Correa in keyboards. They promised a new album. We are waiting for it.
