In April 1968 DAY OF PHOENIX released their debut album on the Sonet label as cat# T7255, the single

?Tell me b/w I think it?s gonna Rain Today?

written by DAVE COUSINS (the Strawbs) and RANDY NEWMAN, respectively.

Recorded at Vanløse Bio, Ivar Rosenberg Lydteknik (Copenhagen)
Producer Gustav Winckler
Engineer Ivar Rosenberg

Dave Cousins? original was recorded in 1967 but unreleased until 1973. As the original was produced by Winckler and had Nicklin on sitar, the two knew the song and paved the way for the DAY OF PHOENIX version.
