written by DAVE COUSINS (the Strawbs) and RANDY NEWMAN, respectively.

Dave Cousins? original was recorded in 1967 but not released until 1973. As the original was produced by Winckler and had Nicklin on sitar, the two knew the song and this paved the way for the DAY OF PHOENIX version.
