THE LAMB LIES DOWN ON BROADWAY

A masterpiece! The whole TLLDOB concept is a delight to both ears and brain, and will not wear out after decenniums of repeated listening. Some of the previous reviews discuss each song, which in my book seems odd for a concept album. So set aside 1.5 hours of your life and share it with Rael and his mysterious "travel". The music is extremely strong on this classic album, and the lyrics unpredecessed -- and afaik, no one have come close since either. A resource for the inspiration for the lyrics, check out George MacDonald's books "Phantastes" and "Lilith".
