2 stars Aptly titled Coda, this album was released well after Led Zeppelin disbanded, following the tragic death of drummer John "Bonzo" Bonham. The songs on the album are out-takes from various recording sessions over the years. The material wasn't good enough to be included on the various albums, and often have an unfinished feel about them.

Best and only really interesting song is "Wearing and Tearing" with fabulous riffing and great vocals, the rest is interesting at times, often very groovy improvised jams that focus on raw, rhythmic explorations.

For fans of Led Zeppelin this is very interesting stuff. If you purchase this album, make sure you get the remastered version, which contains 4 extra pieces. (I don't have that version and it frustrates me)
