An experience so ethereal and transcendental, whose words may not be enough to describe it.

To someone that is completely in love with the music, always charm me when I hear something that not only makes a good impression as the musical quality, but promotes an even deeper, going beyond the sensory and reaching even his soul, such is the beauty that pervades the work, such is its transcendental character and transformer.

That said, I contend that for a long time did not hear anything so beautiful as Falling Deeper. Anathema has been one of the most exciting and bright bands of today, making a sound alternative / atmospheric who does not remember their initial period of doom metal, but here they were overcome. Enlisting support orchestral certainly makes all the difference and is certainly the highlight of the album (besides the participation of the lovely Anneke Van Giersbergen - my favorite singer - in the track Everwake), they do reinterpretations of songs from early doom metal period of band, but what you see here is something totally innovative and out of the ordinary. Fully in line with the music they have done today, these works clash of their original versions and lead the listener to an experience that certainly goes beyond music.

One of the best releases of Anathema and one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard. 5 stars.
