Truly the single greatest album that I own. From the agonizing beauty of Shine On You Crazy Diamond Part 1 (The first letter of every other word in the title spells SYD, the name of Pink Floyd's first singer, for those of you who don't know) to the dark, despairing Welcome to the Machine, the pure psychedelic rock of Have A Cigar, the beauty of the reminiscent Wish You Were Here, and finally the album comes to a close with a feeling of completion with Shine On You Crazy Diamond Part 2.

If you haven't heard this album yet, go out and buy it immediately. It is truly the greatest album that I have ever heard. Pink Floyd came to their creative height in 1975, and they certainly proved to the world what they could do and what music could be.
