2 stars The worst album of Jim and company. Half of the album are normal song with nothing special in it. Shaman's Blues, Wild Child, Runnin' Blue and The Soft Parade are the only strong tracks here. But the title track is only in half good. It starts with a very beautiful melody, then it becomes more funky, and overall sounds like it was made up from pieces. Shaman's Blues is a fine..blues:) It would not be so special on first three records. Wild Child - the strongest song here. Great, simple guitar riff and very good lyrics. Runnin' Blue is not a great song but it gets funny when Robby starts to sing:) Other songs are boring, light, with no mystics, no psychedelia. Oh, and the orchestra did not do too well on this lp. For all, this album is only 2 stars worth.
