5 stars TERRIFIC! THE live TD album of the 80's to own (with Poland).

The first disc is no less that the Sohoman release, but without overdubs. It starts with a beautiful re-arranged version of Convention of the 24, and then continues to the smoothly enchanting sequence of White Eagle. The next track, Ayers Majestic, is simply majestic ! Not on any official album/live release, this piece begins with the theme of Thief and then clashes with C64-like sounds to let a futuristic landscape appears into your mind, until its mysterious final. Logos Part One features an except from the piece played in the called live album. The disc ends with another unique new track, Bondy Parade, an enjoyable peacy sequence which announces Hyperborea.

The second disc has the same track-list as to the Rätikon fan release. It mainly features a long suite of more than 40 minutes. The suite opens with a re-interpretation of the Kraftwerk-esque piece Mojave Plan, but with new interesting arrangements and additions, which make it sound different and more spacey. After a sonic deflagration appears another punchy sequenced track, Thermal Inversion, another piece that is not featured on offical releases. This sequence is even more interesting due to the electronic drumming sometimes reminiscent of Hip-hop beats which were developping at this time. The final sequence finishes admirably with a mysterious ambience followed by an illumination, the end part of Force Majeure. What a fantastic electronic journey! Live versions of Choronzon and Midnight conclude this disc.

This was the first disc from 80s' Tangerine Dream I heard and I was completely blown away. It made me dig in the Schmoelling-era. A must for all electronic music lovers!
