One thing is for sure... Allan Holdsworth could be the most unique guitarist of all time. His note placement, timing, tone are all incredible. Unfortunetaly for me Im thrown off by the cheesy vocal melodies and lyrics in this album (ie. the track metal fatigue) that tend to detract from the obvious highlight ) of his playing. Nonetheless, still a fantastic album simply from those mind bending solos. Every musician should know about Allan Holdsworth.
