4 stars Devin Townsend really is a remarkable man in the music business nowadays, not only has he created fantastic albums from scratch, but also produced many good albums.

Synchestra is a beautiful album with its great melodies and remarkable production (way to go Dev!). It is full of great music full of great sounds from acoustic stuff all the way to very metül riffs. Every time I listen to this record, I feel like I'm in a jungle filled with good feelings, because this album always manages to make me feel happy. Rather than just listening to some songs, I think that people should listen to the whole album to really see what mr. Townsend's music is all about.

Still, I think this record still misses something that would make it a true masterpiece, so I'm giving it four (and a half, if I could :<)stars. I'm looking forward to Townsend's next project: Ziltoid The Omniscient. I think that Ziltoid could very well be his essential masterpiece... I don't know why, but somehow I just feel that way...
