3 stars I never was a fan of this album, despite its spawning one of Zep's all-time greats, "Kashmir," and I remain closed to this album. Some songs have grown on me but other than the aforementioned, none have ever made it to my LZep playlists. (But then, neither has anything from In Through The Out Door.) There was just too much music entering my life at the time that this album came out--plus I was still so in love with "Houses of the Holy" there was not much room for anything new--and certainly no room for any idea that anything could be better than HotH (at the time, the consensus "greatest album of all-time" among my brothers and I). I do like their take on THE DOOBIE BROTHERS' "Long Train Runnin'", "Trampled Under Foot" and I like "Rover" and "Ten Years Gone." That's about it.

A 3.5 star album rated down for the fact that it took four sides of vinyl to produce four good songs and one great one.
