2 stars The edited version of "Ripples" which was used for this single lacks the chorus that goes before the instrumental section of the song, and it also lacks the entire instrumental section of the song which has the interaction between Steve Hackett`s guitar and Tony Banks` synthesiser solos. So, this edited version of this song is "finished" in this version with the reprise of the final chorus, not sounding very well edited for my taste. This is one of my favourite songs from the band, so the full lenght version which was originally released in their "A Trick of the Tail" album is much better than this single edit which maybe was done more for radio playing than for anything else. For collectors and fans only.

"It`s Yourself" was released in its original form only as a "B" side of several singles between 1976 and 1977, having some extra things in the lyrics and an extended final part. This song was edited a few seconds in the final part for its release in the "Genesis Archives 1975-1992" Box Set, and this edited version also lacks those extra things in the lyrics.
