5 stars Why does this album has such a lower score? Isnt it a double-concept-biblical-acid-realistic-experimental-greek-folk album not enough now a days? 666 is perhaps one ofthe first big adventures in Progressive Music - and I always tend to admire such historical exceptions.

The album was recorded through the period of 1970 and 1971 - didnt find exactly for what reason it was released only in 1972 - what made the album have a anachronistic sounding.

It would be too much to explore such a diversity of compositions here, but its worth to mention the different moods: from the psychdelic "Babylon", to the ballad "The Four Horsemen"; from the folk "The Lamb" to the experimental artistic voyage of "Infinity" and "Hic and Nunc". The concept, bringing the Revelation to the modern world (as the initial phrases "we got a system to fuck the system" - famous in the counterculture of the late sixties - indicates), is a powerful reminder of how cruel and otherwordly hungry can be - as simple as that.

Its not exaclty an easy album to listen, but it sure is a voyage like no artist have made.
