5 stars First off, I'm no real jazz aficionado or an expert in any way, but Kind of Blue is in my opinion nearly flawless from beginning to the end. There are no weak spots to be heard and it is one example of a classic that has truly earned its place in the annals of music. I have heard several other albums of Davis from 50s and 60s but none of them excite me as much as this. As I am just a layman when it comes to the theory of music I am not going to go into details about the songs here, these aspects have already been taken up by much worthier reviewers than me.

Kind of Blue is one of those albums where you just press play, sit in your favorite armchair and let the music carry you away from this mortal world for its duration.

There are some albums where all just magically clicks together to create a whole bigger than the sum of its individual parts. Kind of Blue is one of those rare occurrences and it should belong to the collection of any self respecting music fan.
