3 stars Tool. What a weird catchy band. This used to be my favorite album by them, but I say Lateralus now. The music here might not be as powerful or refined as Lateralus, but it does have a rawer, sketchier edge. Stinkfist, Eulogy, H., Fourty Six & 2, and Pushit are all great songs with epic tension build-ups and releases, somewhat like King Crimson. I think this is why the comparison between the bands is made. I don't think there is too much similar between the bands other than that, but i can hear the influence. Tool rmade their definitive sound with Undertow, but they made their first great album with this one. One of the best albums of the 90's, highly recomended.
