More a selection of pop and rock song than prog, the Wall is, however, fairly well executed, something that cannot be said for other Pink floyd albums. This is streets ahead of Meddle, for instance. However, it only ever contrives to be a poor man's The lamb lies down on broadway. It is quite well produced, and seems to have been very good live, qualities to be commended. Pink floyd's best album, but overlong, and failing to work as a two-disc concept.
