5 stars This album is basically perfect.

Once I heard the audience cheering I realized it was a live performance (I just borrowed the tape for the first time last week, literally ignorant of it's origins) and my admiration increased drastically, number one due to compositions. The marksmanship and precision achieved through the instrumentation. Nice and Heavy for it's time, constantly moving, I was head-banging to the whole song of Highway Star. It just doesn't stop.

The guitar solos are relentless, it just goes to show how well versed these musicians were. The sound does not give you any time to stop and think, just feel, constantly feeling the music.

This recording truly grasps the aura of the band, something no studio album would ever compete with.

Grooving. Always grooving.

You just got to love it.

DEEP PURPLE FOREVER!!!!
