3 stars This record is a collaboration between Edgar Froese and Ralf Wadephul. The latter toured with TD in 1988, but didn't release any records (although he wrote the track Sungate on the album Optical Race). He was brought in when Chris Franke left (and before Edgar's son Jerome joined full-time).

The tracks are solid, and clearlyl written in the late 1980s, as they fit the style of TD of the time. Ralf's compositional style differed somwhat from Edgar's, and the variation is a welcome change, as are some great (and newly recorded) guitar solos from Ed (though not long enough).

It's a really solid album, and if you like the late 1980s TD style, then this will do it for you. If you only like the sequencer driven 1970s, then leave well alone!

3.5 for me, 4 if you like late 1980s TD.
