4 stars Sure, it's no Songs from the Wood or Aqualung, but I still thoroughly enjoy The Broadsword & The Beast. It will always be overshadowed by their 70s work, but I think it's a great folkish album with some 80s (synthesizer) influences. Broadsword and Pussy Willow are in particular wonderful songs! I would recommend the album, but not before you buy Aqualung, Songs from the Wood or Thick as a Brick!
