5 stars What hasn't been said about this album already? It is one of the most classic jazz albums of all time, and I love it. Blue in Green is my favorite track, followed by So What, then Flamenco Sketches. Freddie Freeloader is another great track, as is All Blues. Paul Chambers is such a great bassist, and Adderly and Coltrane just kill on saxophone. Bill Evans, Cobb, and Miles all do just a flawless job on this album as well. It's just such a classic and perfect album, that it is just a quintessential jazz album, even if it doesn't really belong on this site. I have listened to this album many times, and it always continues to reward repeated listens. Miles Davis is a brilliant musician, and this is just the tip of the iceberg as far as his influence on music goes.
