2 stars Two stars seems to be the perfect rating for this uneven record. Although I'd contend that listening to this album is not as unbearable as some of our more dramatic reviewers would insinuate, I cannot imagine a non-CAMEL fan enjoying it.

Most of the songs are pleasant to listen to, if a bit thin. The only painful track is Remote Romance - which I won't even dignify with an explanation. Suffice to say I simply deleted the track from my MP3 collection and my enjoyment of the album went up considerably. That being said, anyone who shut off this album after hearing Remote Romance would be sorely disappointed - Ice, the closing track, is a perfect compliment to Camel's wonderful longer suites such as Echoes and Lunar Sea. Ice features 10 minutes of Latimer's best and most emotional guitar playing (anyone convinced Latimer is a Gilmour clone simply must hear this beauty).

Anyone who enjoys Camel's distinctive take on prog will undoubtedly get some good vibes from this record, at the very least from Ice. However, those who didn't enjoy Mirage and Moonmadness likely won't find anything here. ICSYHFH is definitely of lower quality than these records but certainly not without merit.
