3 stars MAESTRO IS BACK! One thing about Keith Emerson is certain, nobody plays Hammond B3 like him,NOBODY!On this album his Hammond sounds even more menacing than ever, bonus track on american edition, reworking of Barbarian from first album is simply phenomenal. Most material on album is pretty decent,Bonilla on both vocals and guitar is more than competent musician, and rest of the band is up to the task also.On the downside, musical flow is interrupted by several cheesy songs, plus one honky-tonk-country-something song,I guess reminiscent of likes of Sheriff or Benny the bouncer.Truth is,most of the songs are in typical Emerson fashion, full of pomp and drama and hard-core fans(count myself in)will be pleased. For people who did not like ELP to start with, maybe you should give it another try, this album may change your perspective.A very strong 3,5 stars!
