3 stars I have to confess I only gave this late TD Light Flux (2017) album a spin because I have been recently getting acquainted with Ulrich Schnauss´works (all due to his collaborations with Jonas Munk), although on this TD album, he only has a one track collaboration as an active performer.

I , as I have mentioned a zillion times, lost track of TD´s 80/90s/2000s era. Kind of a curse to have met them in their sudden 70s peak.

I find it kind of impossible to distinguish one 80/90s/2000s record from the other besides their conceptual explanations or cover art. Music wise TD became an endless marathon of recurring formulas which were created by themselves, certainly nor the first or last to fall into this temptation, but it is still a shame for such a gigantic forerunner in these electronic fields.

Mr. Froese in this recording is still the captain of his dream machine, which is historic to say the least....and I guess I have ran out of compliments.

There are some new twists to the old prescriptions but not enough and certainly not that memorable as to stand out as masterpieces or essential (or better than their originals as Tyger & Logos which were not that great to start with).

Some good moments & some dull ones. A curse I repeat.

***3 PA´s stars.
