Simple, a group of gentleman with more than music to offer. For me in the late 70's life was at best a struggle. With the family unit at battle most times, I was turned on to Kansas and found comfort, hope and a diverse way of thinking by sitting for hours upon hours hearing a message. That message placed me in a different domination entirely with a since of understanding not known prior. I know have a successful yacht service business in Annapolis and think often of the lyrics to "Carry On Wayward Son". Perhaps this song alone changed my entire life, then. As time moved on, I have become unconsciously some of the lyrics, personally. The complexity to the message and music will take some doing to beat.
