3 stars It's kind of daring to summarize Pink Floyd in only 1 CD (even a full one, with the same length of a double LP), but I think that the track selection of A Foot in the Door is pretty consistent. Instead of trying to represent all eras of the band, it focuses in 3 of their best albums: The Dark Side of the Moon (5 tracks), The Wall (4) and Wish You Were Here (3). This makes the compilation sound more cohesive. The other 4 tracks are all pretty good, although I would switch "Learning to Fly" and "The Fletcher Memorial Home" for "Astronomy Domine" and "A Pillow of Winds" (or both for "Sheep"). Nevertheless, it's a great album to introduce someone to Pink Floyd.
