Credo Man
5 stars I guess like the guy who bought this album there is a lot of history about Credo that needs to be understood, and I would suggest the excellent interview with Colton & Varty on This is what we do - Live in Poland dvd as a good place to start, this alum needs contextulising against the background of the circumstances of it's release, and truly needs to be regarded as the VERY start of the band that presented the amazing Rhetoric in 2005 and TIWWD in 2009, ask people who saw them at RoSFEST, Progfarm, infact anywhere, they are a great band.

This album was originally intended to be released on Cassette only before CYCLOPS came in and offered to release it, yes it's basic, and very basically recorded, similar in many ways to Script For A Jesters Tear with some truly great songs, all of which were played on the Rhetoric Tour at various times and went down a storm!!!

The whole thing was recorded and mixed in four days, and the vocals (yes they sound like it!!!) were recorded in two hours one afternoon.

If you like the early Punky Neo Prog of Fly High Fall Far, The Wake, Script, Early Twelfth Night, La Host etc - you will love this - The band went on to record one of the truly iconic neo prog albums of the genre with RHETORIC, this is where it all started, and I have seen it changing hands for over £50 on ebay recently, and yeah, I dont agree this album should haver such a low score, so I am gonna equal that out.

Back in 94 Kerrang gave it 3.5 K's out of 5 which 15 years later is still fair, this is now one of the biggest selling Cyclops titles, and RHETORIC is currently the biggest selling tittle ever on F2, those sorts of stas don't lie.....
