2 stars First Light has to be one of the best five minutes worth of music Camel has ever done - breathtaking, fantastic stuff. The rest of the album is a very patchy affair, nothing comes close, although there's a nice hook in Highways Of The Sun, even if it plods along like, er, a three-legged camel. I saw them live at the time they promoted this and got a place right at the front of the stage. I remember great visual backdrops, great music, and Pete Bardens looking at me in a strange manner. Mind, I was looking at him in a strange manner, so we probably made each other a bit uneasy. He left the band shortly after that.
