4 stars Intriguing release by this Italian born guitarist.

Here he comes across as a cross between Robert Fripp and Joe Satriani; with dreamy melodic soloing mixed with atonal and disharmonic sounding guitars and guitar layers. And some shredding is inserted as well - in both styles of guitar playing.

Underscoring the guitars are some really cool bass lines, mostly melodic as well as quirky, some nice use of various synth-produced sounds. And the drumming, mostly quirky, always good, and with a distinct jazz flavour to it in style.

Liberal fans of fusion and shred should check out this one further; and those enjoying the works of Robert Fripp might also find something of interest here.
