I have to admit: I've been a fair-weather friend to PG's music ever since So launched him into the pop stratosphere. I've never purchased or listened to Us in its entirety and I don't think I ever will, but I've heard all of the songs in isolation (especially the radio hits) and I've seen all of his concert videos (he remains quite the enjoyable and innovative showman), so I know the music. In my opinion, the best music he's done since "Security" has been his soundtrack contributions (Birdy, The Last Temptation of Christ ["Passion"], and Rabbit-Proof Fence ["The Long Walk Home"]) and parts of Ovo. Here I've enjoyed "Steam", "Digging in the Dirt", and, of course, "Secret World." Not my favorite PG music--despite the contributions of a veritable Who's-Who of famous musicians.
