5 stars I started listening to Fates Warning in 1984 with the 1st release of "Night on Brocken" I back then being a Heavy Metal addict was taken by the overall "Maiden-ish" fell. I lost The 1st 3 albums in 1988...Didn't listen or follow the band after that. About a year I ago I'm on ebay and see a auction featuring Fates Warning No Exit I say to myself "Wow, that was great Album..and immediately go on a search to see what else They recorded since 1988 that I was not aware of. I find "Perfect Symmetry" Buy it and Wow..Sure the singer was gone but being a professional drummer myself ( www.jdsego.com) I was floored and in ecstasy hearing Mark Zonder's tasty off beat syncopation He is one hell of a drummer! And my opinion on "Perfect Symmetry" this is a MUST HAVE CD Especially if you're a drummer into prog-rock..Mark has etched a masterpiece here! The entire album is absolutely the best from Fates Warning and has yet to be duplicated in later releases.
