5 stars I don't dare speculate if this is one of the best progressive rock live albums but it is the best live album by one of the best progressive rock bands of the 70's. Missing Gabrlel but still soldering on with Hackett and with extra two drummers (Bruford or Thompson), these two additions give an extra instrumental punch. Most fans will be very pleased with tracks selections from the classic Genesis era despite almost ignoring the latest "Wind and Wuthering" album with only the mediocre "Afterglow". The production , sound, charisma and performance are top. Collins shows great drumming abilities on "Robbery, Assault and Battery" but also in the tandem on "Firth of the fifth", "Cinema Show" and "Los Endos". The whole inclusion of "Supper's ready" is rare because they would stop performing this song in entirety after 1977. Drums, keyboards and bass guitar are well audible in the mix, I would have wished more space for the guitar. My only real complaint is the shortened "Dance on Volcano" missing the instrumental storm as in the studio version instead replacing it by parts of "Los Endos" which plagues the quality because "Los Endos" comes back again after 3 minutes. They should have played this excellent track as on the studio album.

If you want a best of prog by Genesis live compilation, then this is the one to get hold of.
