5 stars One of the greatest albums of all time.

It's a bit hard to make a review about an album that already received so many reviews. I'll just try then to summarize what ist my mind.

First of all, Wish you were here is my first contact with Floyd, and with Prog to some extent. I already knew about the song because let's face it, wish you were here is mainstream (the song) but ist dosent mean the song is bad. But the first time I listen to shine on you crazy diamond? It was during a live show, my best friend at that moment dragged me to a tribute band show bragging about how good pink floyd. To be honest, i hate the show, i didn't understand the music back then. The only song that caught my attention was Shine on you crazy diamond. That sound was so pure? perfect, felt like I was in space. It was also the first big song I learned to love.

"Remember when you were young" And then gilmour laugh in the background still amazes me today, i still remember how i felt. five years after that show, Pink Floyd is my favorite band, and now Prog is my favorite music style.
