5 stars I already wrote a review for their self-titled album, and I gave it 5 stars, little after that I listened to their Young Mountain EP, and what can I say? I think I even like it more than the album!

While their S/T was more about ambient soundscapes, really slow movements and little climaxes, this approaches much more to the Mogwai sound (yes, I am not gonna lie, this guys aren't the most original band out there). The band creates a much richer sound, more emotional and also faster, and in consequence, much more dynamic. All the songs here are absolutely beautiful and different in its own way, from the emotional slow moves of "Quiet", to the headbanging climax at the end of "There Are Some Remedies Worse Than The Disease", passing by the bright electronics of "Grandfather Clock".

I don't really like to describe post-rock, but I can only say that this is very warm and touching music, a masterpiece in post-rock.
