5 stars Absolute masterpiece. That's the best way to describe it. First of all, how do you follow up an album like DSOTM? And album that is a near-to-unbeatable work? Pink Floyd somehow managed to make an album as good in just two years! First things first, I don't think this is better than the Dark Side Of The Moon, or vice versa. They both got their strengths and their almost non-existent weaknesses.

WYWH is truly successful when it comes to track-to-track quality. There's not a single song that deserves to be called "the worst".

The "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" suite features some of the most soothing melodies you will ever hear. "Welcome To The Machine" is a dark, depressive song that transports you to another world with its hypnotic keyboards. "Have A Cigar" is a funky and catchy groove that removes the sad ambience from Welcome To The Machine. "Wish You Were Here" is one of the most iconic Pink Floyd songs, and it has a beautiful meaning too.

Simply perfect, I have no idea how you could possibly not rate this album five stars.
